Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of thepin.lol and any purchase you make on it. The site is operated by Steal The Pin (“we”, “us”). By buying The Pin you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not buy.
1. What you are buying
A temporary promotional placement. For as long as you hold it, the site displays your message and an optional link as the single message on the homepage, and the @stealthepin account publishes one post announcing the takeover.
“The Pin” is the placement on this site, not a pinned post on X. The name describes the single spot on this homepage. Your takeover post stays on the @stealthepin timeline afterwards as part of the record, but which post is pinned on X — if any — is our decision and can change at any time.
You are buying one placement, not the account. @stealthepin goes on posting: takeovers by other people, explanations of how this works, replies, and whatever else we decide to publish. You get no exclusivity over the account, no approval over what else appears on it, and no say in what is posted, pinned, or removed. If you want an account that only carries your message, buy an account.
You are not buying a security, a share, a token, an asset, a subscription, an advertising contract, or any guaranteed duration of display. Nothing on this site is an investment or an offer of one.
2. How long it lasts
Until the next person pays the then-current price. That may be hours; it may be seconds. There is no minimum duration, and losing the placement immediately is a normal, expected outcome rather than a fault. This is the entire premise of the product and you are agreeing to it explicitly.
3. Price
One fixed price is displayed at any moment, and that is the price you pay. There is no bidding, no auction, and no negotiated pricing. After each successful purchase the next price increases automatically. The increase applies to the next buyer, never retroactively to you.
4. Payment
Payments are processed by Whop. We never receive or store your card details. Your purchase is complete only when we receive confirmation from the payment provider — not when your browser returns to the site.
5. If someone pays for the same slot first
Only one purchase can succeed per price period. If your payment completes after another buyer has already taken that period, you do not receive the placement and your payment is refunded in full. We do not keep money for a placement we did not deliver. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and the timing depends on your bank and the payment provider.
6. Refunds
Once your placement has gone live, the purchase is non-refundable. That includes:
- losing the placement quickly, however quickly;
- changing your mind about what you wrote;
- the post on X failing, being delayed, or not being pinned.
We do refund:
- the situation in section 5;
- duplicate or erroneous charges;
- a payment taken where the placement was never displayed at all.
If you are a consumer with statutory cancellation rights, note that the placement is supplied immediately and in full on purchase; where the law permits, you are asking us to begin supply at once and acknowledge that this ends any withdrawal right once supply is complete. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited.
7. Your content
You are responsible for what you submit. You confirm that you own it or are permitted to publish it, and that it does not break the Rules or any applicable law.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your message and link on the site, to publish them from the @stealthepin account, and to retain them in the public history after your placement ends. This licence continues after you lose the placement, because the history is permanent by design.
8. Moderation and removal
Submissions are checked before payment and again before publication. We may refuse, remove or replace any content that breaks the Rules, is unlawful, or exposes us to liability — at any time, with or without notice.
Removal for breaking the Rules does not entitle you to a refund and does not extend or restart your placement. Content removed after publication is replaced with a takedown notice; the entry remains in the history.
9. Availability
The site is provided as-is and as-available. We may pause purchases, take the site down, or change how it works at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we do not guarantee that any post to X will be published, pinned, or remain available — X is a third party and its API access is outside our control.
10. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to interfere with the site, bypass rate limits or moderation, automate purchases in a way designed to deny others a fair opportunity to buy, or impersonate anyone. We may refuse service and block handles or domains at our discretion.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you actually paid for the placement in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, goodwill, or expected exposure.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your purchase, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes do not apply retroactively to a placement already bought.
