Steal The Pin

Rules

One post. Always for sale. Short list, strictly enforced. Content is checked before payment and again before it is published to X.

Not allowed

  • Threats, incitement to violence, or celebration of violence.
  • Illegal content, or offers to sell illegal goods and services.
  • Doxxing: addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, payment cards, private data.
  • Sexually explicit content.
  • Phishing, malware, drainer links, link shorteners and redirectors.
  • Impersonating a person, a company, or this site.
  • Claiming an X handle in your message. We cannot check you own it, so it is not allowed — say who you are in plain words, or use the link.
  • Promotion of violent extremism or terrorist organisations.
  • Slurs and targeted harassment.

Allowed

Almost everything else. Bad opinions, worse jokes, your startup, your grievance, your own name in enormous type. Links must go to a real, reachable page.

One sentence, not an essay: messages are capped at 120 characters. The Pin is a headline, and a paragraph set in small type is nobody’s idea of one.

English only. Every Pin is published from our account and read by a human before it is defended, and we will not put our name to something we cannot read.

What you get

The single message on this homepage, for as long as you hold it, and one post from @stealthepin announcing it. That post stays up afterwards — the timeline is the history of every Pin there has been.

You are not buying the account. Other posts keep appearing on it, including other people’s takeovers, and nothing there is pinned on your behalf. The Pin is the spot on this page.

Enforcement

Submissions that break these rules are rejected before checkout. If something gets through, it is removed and the message is replaced with a takedown notice. Removal does not extend, refund or restart your ownership — you broke the rules with money you already spent.

Repeated abuse gets a handle or a domain added to a blocklist, which means future submissions are rejected outright.

Reporting

Something on The Pin that shouldn’t be? Email info@thepin.lol with the message and roughly when you saw it.
